The
Sixth Chinese International Garden & Flower Expo (CIGF) was held in Xiamen,
Fujian province on September 23rd, 2007. After the serious consideration by organizing
committee of CIGF, 13 Golden Dragon coaches served for the expo as its official
transport. The
Xiamen Golden Dragon Van Co. Ltd was founded in 1992 as a joint venture between
the Xiamen Automobile Co. Ltd and foreign investors. Golden Dragon produces 8
series of vans and coaches, ranging from 4 to 12 meters in length and seating
from 5 to 55 passengers. In 2006, Golden Dragon continued to exhibit a strong
growth momentum and sold a record with 17,500 coaches, including nearly 10,000
large and medium coaches. With such sales, Golden Dragon enjoyed a market share
of 12.6% and a turnover of 3.8 billion yuan. Golden Dragon has achieved steady
growth for 14 years, attracting intense attention from the industry.
