From now on, Faw Wuxi Engine will use one year to invest nearly 200 million yuan into research and development to enbale their high, medium and low class engine products achieve "Europ 3" emissions standards.

In the recent three years, FAW Wuxi Engine Company plans to as the key development, the annual research investment accounted 50% of the annual sales volume. In the last year, along with the advent of 6DL series disel engine, Wuxi Engine succeed in the high-class products which to meet "Europe 3" standard, this year, the company make the foucus on the medium and low class products, natrual gas engine and disel hybrid engine will have develop successful.

At the end of 2006, Faw Wuxi Engine Company will also develop "Europe 4" diesel engine, to fill gaps in the domestic market.
